Alabama Tornadoes – Home Relief

Apartment List is joining forces to provide home relief to families that were displaced by the recent tornadoes in Alabama.

We’re teaming up with Henssler Property Management, alongside nonprofit Housing Industry Foundation, to help displaced families find a temporary, secure home.

Let’s rebuild together

On Sunday, March 3rd, a series of tornadoes struck Lee County in what is now considered one of the deadliest storms on US record. The tornadoes created a path of destruction nearly a mile wide, damaging over 100 homes and taking the lives of at least 23 people.

We’re providing apartments in Auburn, Alabama for families displaced by the Lee County tornadoes so they have a housing bridge through June. If you or someone you know is in need of housing relief, please apply below.

Applications will be reviewed and apartments will be allocated based on need, on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are currently no longer accepting applications for these apartments.

We are proud to join together with a community of partners to help affected families feel at home.

Home Relief – Past Efforts

Following the November 2018 California wildfires, Apartment List launched this relief website in order to connect communities and partners with displaced families in need.

Together, we provided homes for several families in Northern and Southern California. Learn more about their stories.
